However, most of the students have a hard time learning accounting, which results in their low achievement in the subject. Therefore, the goal of this research is to find out why difficulties occur in students’ learning of accounting and what coping strategies these students can apply. This research was conducted through Delphi questionnaires, aiming to explore the learning difficulties and coping strategies of comprehensive high school students who study accounting. This research was divided into two phases. The first phase was to research on “comprehensive high school students’ learning difficulties on accounting.” Through expert interviews, and three-round Delphi questionnaires, the learning difficulties of comprehensive high school students who study accounting could be categorized as four dimensions with 16 items: (1) student factors (2) teacher factors (3) course factors (4) environmental factors. Based on the findings from the first phase, the second phase targeted at exploring “the coping strategies of comprehensive high school students who study accounting.” After expert interviews, and three-round Delphi questionnaires, the coping strategies of comprehensive high school students who study accounting could be categorized as four dimensions with 29 responding measures: (1) student factors (2) teacher factors (3) course factors (4) environmental factors.
