Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 商業教育學系 === 99 === ABSTRACT The present thesis aims to explore the influences of parents’ parenting styles, socio-economic status, and students’ personality traits on junior high school students’ playing of the on-line games. Then, the thesis examines the influence of students’ time on the on-line games upon their interpersonal relationship. The thesis discovers that (1) The junior high school students’ time on the on-line games is more than an hour and less than three hours. They usually play the on-line games when surfing the Internet. (2) The parents’ parenting style to their junior high school children proves significant and presents negative correlation. (3) The junior high students’ personality traits which are “kind” and “self-disciplined” present negative correlation with the time on the on-line games; those which are “outgoing” present positive correlation with the time on the on-line games. (4) The time spent on the on-line games presents negative correlation with the junior high school students’ academic achievement, and it proves predictable. (5) The time spent on the on-line games presents negative correlation with “the relationship with students’ fellows and friends” and proves predictable.
