Summary: | 碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 化學系 === 99 === The goal of this research is to synthesize the boron-based derivatives and to investigate their potential for anion sensors. We successfully synthesize compound 4, 8 and 6 that all are naphthalene as the chromophore. Chemosensor 4 exhibits selective recognition towards CH3COO-、H2PO4- and I- ion among a series of tested anions in CH3CN solution. The association constant for 4* CH3COO-、4* H2PO4- and 4* I- in CH3CN solution were calculated to be 3.9×106 M-1、2.6×105 M-1 and 2.6×105 M-1, respectively. Chemosensor 4 formed complexes with the CH3COO- 、H2PO4- or I- ion at a 1:1 ligand-to-anion ratio with a detection limit of 40 ppm CH3COO-、61 ppm H2PO4- and 0.09 ppm I-, respectively.
Chemosensor 8 exhibits selective recognition towards I- ion among a series of tested anions in CH2Cl2 solution. The association constant for 8* I- in CH2Cl2 solution was calculated to be 6.6×105 M-1. Chemosensor 8 formed complexes with the I- ion at a 1:1 ligand-to-anion ratio with a detection limit of 0.005 ppm I-.
Chemosensor 6 exhibits selective recognition towards I- ion among a series of tested anions in THF/H2O (1:1, v/v) solution. The association constant for 6* I- in THF/H2O (1:1, v/v) solution was calculated to be 5×104 M-1. Chemosensor 6 formed complexes with the I- ion at a 1:1 ligand-to-anion ratio with a detection limit of 0.26 ppm I-.
