Summary:碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 工業教育與技術學系 === 99 === The main purposes of the research were to realize the management difficulties of private schools when confronting the low-birth rate and discuss the problem-solving methods that were used in the case before. Furthermore, according to the past strategies to find the competitive advantages for the case is also another goal. The research take a private school under impacts of the low-birth rate but still with high student number as the case study. Through the interviewers, participants , and document analysis for data collection. The interviewed people are from the members of the case school. The conclusions are as follows: 1. In the case, the management difficulties were: (1)impacts from the low-birth rate leads to the student number.(2)lack of management characteristics (3)changes of education policies.(4)the resistance from teachers to innovate (5) obstruction from parents. 2. In the case, the main strategies to solve the problems from low-birth rate were (1) enhance the ways to make the number of students increase (2) the improvements of teaching skill and so on. 3. In the case, competitive advantages were relied on theprincipal’s creative leadership, including (1) principal’s excellent leadership (2) table school policies (3) innovation of school administration (4) marketing strategies Finally, this researcher proposed some suggestions in three aspects: (1) school improvement; (2)educational administration institution; (3) future researches in this and related topics.
