As a direct-lit type backlight local dimming controlled (Local Dimming), we adjust the lighting intensity to change in different regions in order to save energy and improve the image dynamic contrast, and make the image dark areas darker and bright areas brighter. First we use of measurement methods for selecting the control characteristics closer to the LED, then by changing the LED brightness level of the different regions. By adjusting the LED lighting intensity in different regions of backlight module, we can observe significantly the brightness differences in different regions of backlight module and verified the pins of control single-chip scanning and digital-analog conversion circuit to complete the different regions of the brightness control.
