Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中央大學 === 資訊管理研究所 === 99 === Change is substantial in variant product design. When changes occur, all the related parts must be affected. Thus, the impacts of changes need to be promptly realized in order to maintain the consistency and integrity of the product. For the purpose of handling potential effects of product design change, this research proposes an algorithm for analyzing change impact through a quantitative indicator in termed impact factor in our research. The concept of this approach is established on determining the scope of changes through tree structure known as impact tree in this study and then estimating the expected cost of change via degree of influence in consideration of change propagation and recursive looping. A collaboration-based system is implemented to realize the proposed approach and algorithm. Lastly, the feasibility of the system is verified through an experiment.
