Summary:碩士 === 國立中央大學 === 資訊工程研究所 === 99 === This paper in order to enhance English speaking and reading learning outcome, using 5E learning cycle theory as teaching strategy, applying e-Portfolio as electronic assisted tool, design appropriate learning activities. There are twenty three students in this experiment. The students, according to learning activities, experience three face-to-face courses and three times of online homework. Students record twice vocal files, showing them on the e-Portfolio, and do online discussions with peers and teacher. After go through the writing tests, pre-test and post-test, grades analysis shows that English learning outcome in reading has significant progress. In addition, assess from students’ two recording vocal file, the English learning outcome in speaking also has apparent progress. Besides, most students can master the process of learning activities, and agreed learning activities brought 5E practice for the English learning in speaking and reading.
