Questionnaire was administrated for collecting data in the study. PE teachers from 146 public and private junior high schools were selected as the participants through convenient sampling. Total of 539 effective questionnaires were retrieved. The data were analyzed with MANOVA, Pearson product-moment correlation, and multiple stepwise regression. The results were as follows: 1.Fitness program in junior high school: the cognitive styles of PE teachers were originality-oriented. 2.Fitness program in junior high school: the current circumstance of the self-efficacy for creative teaching of PE teachers was medium-leveled. 3.Fitness program in junior high school with different backgrounds: the cognitive styles of PE teachers would be affected by the seniority. 4.Fitness program in junior high school with different backgrounds: the self-efficacy for creative teaching of PE teachers were significantly different among various seniorities, teaching experiences, and whether had participated in creativity related curriculum. 5.Fitness program in junior high school: the cognitive style of PE teacher was positively related to the self-efficacy for creative teaching. 6.Fitness program in junior high school: the cognitive style of PE teacher could predict the self-efficacy for creative teaching.
