Summary: | 碩士 === 國立體育大學 === 體育研究所 === 99 === Purpose of this research is primarily to explore the current teacher professional content for adapted physical education teachers through the dedicated indicator construction for these teachers. This research also explored the three dimensions specifically in aspects like professional knowledge, capability and attitude through the surveys of “Indicator construction for adapted physical education teacher”. Moreover, background variables like gender, teaching seniority, professional background and the category of the school where the teacher was employed were also used in order to understand the differences resulted from different background variables of the teacher as opposed to the professional cognition for adapted physical education teacher. This research adopted teachers who taught the physical education curriculum for students with disability in domestic special education schools, general elementary, junior high and high schools as the research subjects. The adopted test tool was the self-compiled scale. In addition, in order to facilitate the sample collection, there were a total of 702 query survey sheets disseminated with 640 effective returns. Information and data acquired underwent processing like frequency distribution, percentage, average, standard deviation, independent sample t test, one-way ANOVA with repeated measures and LSD post hoc comparison. Research findings are as follow: (I) The professional contents for adapted physical education teacher comprised three constructs, fourteen dimensions and forty nine indices. (II) For the different background variables of teacher cognition, if broken down by significance level of the teacher professional for adapted physical education teacher: (1)Professional knowledge: Physical education was the highest followed by special education professional and lastly the knowledge like sports science professional and education professional. (2)Professional capability: Class operation and teaching were the highest among all and followed by curriculum design, learning measurement and assessment and counseling and guidance. Lastly, it was the capability of transition and resettlement. (3)Professional attitude: Passion of teaching was the highest, followed by communication and attitudes of ethics and morality and continuance education. Lastly, this research also provides recommendations to serve as the references for future professional teaching talent development and training of the adapted physical education.
