In additions, Taiwan won two gold and one silver medals in 2004 Athens Summer Olympics. However, there is less discussion related to the sport for all promotion of Taekwondo in Taiwan. Therefore, how to promote Taekwondo nationally and make it become one of the most popular sports in Taiwan has become a very important issue. Based on the concept of sport for all promotion, this study attempted to identify the sport for all policies that Chinese Taipei Taekwondo Association (CTTA) has made. Therefore, the relevant data was collected, then personnel from the Association, members of city and country committees and senior Taekwondo coaches were interviewed by the author of this research to analyze the real situation. After the above process, the author divided this research into three categories, including the status of the Association, strategy analysis, and future promotion. The results of this study showed that CTTA slected their Olympics althletes like how the pyramid works. It also indicated the strengths and weakness, opportunities and threats (SWOT) of CTTA according to the interactions among local Taekwondo centers, committees, and CTTA with the author. The strength were that the professionals were well trained and were willing to continue the Taekwondo training so as to promote themselves to higher levels. The weakness were that the promoters of Taekwondo did not either met the demands of the senior and female participants well, or have enough up-to-date international training information. On the other hand, the pre-school kids and female markets are worthy for the promoter to explore. The potential threats were that the difficulty of execution at children-caring classes or due to the decreasing of the Taiwanese birth rate. In additions, the controversies about the international Taekwondo events in the past can also generate negative image to this sport. Lastly, the author of this study suggested that CTTA could make more efforts on children, women and seniors to diversify the development of its sport for all target.
