counseling style. Interviews with two counselors were conducted. The result suggests
the result of the impression of the word ‘counseling style’ comes from books, the
individual understanding and guidance from teachers counselors regard counseling
style as ‘which counselors I want to be’ and ‘counseling style is counseling theory’.
The acknowledgement of counseling style will change when counselors make efforts in
self-awareness. After counselors find their capability and uniqueness, they tend to
describe counseling style more clearly and what they talk about is what they put into
practice. What they say is what their believing.
Understanding of counseling style will influence the way of development of
counseling style. For example developing counseling style out from counseling theory
or from people they appreciate in order to know what kind of counselors they want to
be. No matter what the way of developing counseling style is on early stage or after
evolving their uniqueness, the counseling-learning process will focus on themselves,
they think highly on pure values or the things they want to learn. Besides, counselors
need to suggest their counseling style in name of counseling theory in order to build the
connection with others. In the end implications of the findings for counselors and
