Participants enjoyed the instant fame, one of which Aska Yang, is the most popular, and is seen as representative of this fervor. Aska experienced several undulating situations; people believe that the great support of his Pigeon fans can not be ignored for him to overcome these difficulties. Fans of Aska have built on-line community - "Pigeon House", which gather enormous energy, and even have the power to control or change the outcome of event. This thesis aims to study how internet community and organization works through case of "Pigeon House", which showcases very creative and imaginative "fan culture". The thesis finds that "Pigeon House", in using internet platform and digital database, provides a forum in which fan members understand, express themselves and build up identity in opposition to others. In this regard, "Pigeon House" develops emotional, social and economic activities based on "Idol worship", consequently, maintains cohesion and unity among fans, very much characteristics of "Pigeon House". The thesis is different from physical fieldwork, in that it observes and studies cross-regionally members in various urban/rural areas in Taiwan as well as foreign countries through Internet. Meanwhile, as a member, the author participates many activities of "Pigeon House" and observes them over a long period of time. Therefore, as an increasing popular on-line community development, I re-think and review the meaning of it by internet and virtual ways, and, as a result, show the differences between virtual and physical field work.
