Summary: | 碩士 === 國立勤益科技大學 === 冷凍空調系 === 99 === In this study, a natural ventilation enhancement module is proposed, which utilizes the heat water from the solar heat collector and a heat exchanger in a wind tower to heat the air within the wind tower. A water circulation pipe is used to connect the solar collector and the heat exchanger, and the heat water can be supplied to the heat exchanger and return to the collector through the circulation pipe. Due to the buoyancy effect, the density of the heated air within the wind tower is smaller than that of the air outside the tower, and the heated air is driven to move upwards by the buoyant force and leave the tower. The upwards moving air results in the pressure reduction within the building, then the outside higher pressure air can be induced into the building through the windows. Through the natural ventilation enhancement module, the outside air can be easily induced into the building, and the required operating period of air conditioning system can be shortened in the summer. In the winter, a damper is set at the outlet of the tower. By adjusting the open angle of the damper, the flow rate of the moving upwards air can be reduced. Thus, heat of the redundant heated air can gradually be transferred into the inside of the building, and make the room temperature maintain a suitable condition. This paper investigated the dimensions of the windows, the cross areas of the tower and heat exchanger and the length of the heat exchanger on the natural ventilation effect. Furthermore, the temperature of the supplied heated water and open angle of the damper on the ventilation effect are also investigated.
