Containers in the container yard need temporary storage so the storage management for containers becomes an important issue. Because containers are heavy and large, they will not only cause space problem and also create environmental security issues. This paper presents a two-stage structure to manage container load and container store so that it will decrease labor costs, reduce work hours, increase job security, reduce the accident, and enhance management efficiency to achieve the design of container automatic transfer container . The first phase: The trailer container handling process is processed by the image identification, container loading and unloading of the trailer at this stage is carried out with dray. When the dray reaches to the point, by image recognition system to obtain image acquisition to identify the container number, containers are hang-sent by straddle carriers to the conveyor. The second phase: The container processing includes RFID identification, and container number image recognition to carry the container storage processing. The access control points are installed with the automatic electronic identification access control system, Combined with the implementation of electronic customs seals, the results of container recognition are used as in and out records of the container yards to carry the ship handling. Image recognition processing of container with straddle carriers for storage management is carried by identifying the number on the surfaces of containers hanged by straddle carriers to process the storage location management. Therefore, this structure will not only increase the efficiency of container handling operations, but also automatically check out stations with unmanned operating environment. Because this structure is different from the traditional way of using the space between the container and the container to identify the container number, at the same time it will prevent the trailer directly into the container yard so to solve security problems of container yard management and reduce accidents. Therefore, the system can result in a safe and effective automation of intelligent unmanned container handling.
