Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中興大學 === 歷史學系所 === 99 === Due to the special political background as well as the individual historical and cultural development, Taiwan history textbook is usually full of the consciousness of Chinese. Because of that, most history textbooks in Taiwan do not include abundant Taiwan history. Some of them even just mention the people or city of Taiwan. As a result, most students in Taiwan are more familiar with history of Chinese rather than Taiwan. In order to alter past peculiar phenomena and response to international trend, domestic political situation and social change of emphasizing localization, Taiwan history textbooks increase content of Taiwan’s own history. It was an epoch in the Taiwan historical education as High School Temporary Curriculum Guidelines launched in 2005. Therefore, Taiwan history is now becomes an individual separated volume, rather than a part of history textbook and it is arranged in the first high school year. The main purpose of the study is to explore the Taiwan history of High School History Temporary Curriculum Guidelines of 2006 and investigate Taiwan history education’s formation and reform. Additionally, the research explores Taiwan history education’s development under the influences of global trend, the change of times and national policies longitudinally. The study shows that the guideline has brought positive metamorphosis of Taiwan historical education curriculum in the aspects of national independent consciousness, the copious texts, the change of value, and the formation of world outlook.
