Through analysis of this study, understanding homecare glucose meter industry development and competition situation. Study on blood glucose machine industry successfully implemented by the policy, and as a reference for the company manager in terms of performance, develop strategy.
The literature review of this study included value chain analysis, competitive analysis, and superiority analysis as basis for consolidated and summarized. The study is based on the scope for glucose meter market, and setting a specific research enterprise. The data collection and made a summary based on the analysis of Michael Porter''s Five Forces Model, SWOT analysis, value chain analysis, and enterprise interviews.
This study has interviewed two persons familiar with the glucose meter industry, through interviews and discussion on the value chain and competitive analysis to evaluate company B how to advantage in the changing environment.
The suggestions for company B in our study and conclusions are: strives for the market, establishes the innate brand image, obtains the authentication, innovation research and development, vertical conformity to cost down, get patents to develop global market, production automation to enhance productivity and increase the production elastically, strive for the product to obtain the health insurance payment, the linkage between product R&D and information transmission industry, and management strategy.
