| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立中興大學 === 高階經理人碩士在職專班 === 99 === This thesis uses the BCC efficiency model of Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) to evaluate the performance for the second generation participating in technology firms. There are three evaluation processes in this thesis. Process 1 measures the productivity; Process 2 measures the company’s profitability, and process 3 measures the marketability as well as the whole performance of a company. The empirical result in this thesis is relevant to the issue in the management and question of company’s inheritance.
Also, the empirical result shows that 50% sample companies are more performant in productivity,70% sample companies are more performant in profitability, and 92% sample companies are more performant in marketability . Only few sample companies got low score in each of these three evaluation items. It means that most of the second generation participating in technology firms’s performance are very good.
Furthermore from three evaluation items, the second generation participating in business focuses more on Productivity (or OEM) than Profitability or Marketability.
