| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立中興大學 === 電機工程學系所 === 99 === This research designed a system platform based on Local Base Service (LBS) system for the potential International Roaming customers of Taiwan telecommunication companies. This system assists the customers in receiving a series of information about how to register and initiate the International Roaming service as soon as they step into the preinstalled areas. In addition, the study specified the preinstalled area to Taichung airport as a demonstrating example and the telecommunication system of Taiwan Chunghwa Telecom was applied. The finding of the research showed that this system is workable and satisfies the customer’s needs. Furthermore, it benefits both the company and the customers.
Last but not least, this research is a stepping-stone of the LBS implication. In the future, the LBS system can be implied in the business and security alarm fields. For example, if the system is installed in a business area such as a department store, consumers will immediately get the promotion information through their cell phone once they get into the installed area. Besides, if the LBS system cooperates with the meteorological bureau, the residents lived near the potential disaster areas will get the alarming messages and take actions simultaneously before the nature disaster happened. The harm caused by the disaster could be reduced because of the system.
