Since the innovative research and development of hardware with cloud computing is often a time-consuming efforts, how to find the development directions and measure the effects in the early phase of product development becomes an important research topic. The All-In-One (AIO) computer has the advantages of a body formation of main engine and monitor in the ways of size (thin) and weight (light) as well as operating efficiency. Thence, the AIO computer can be used to develop the hardware with small-sized cloud computing, and becomes development trend of new computer application. For this reason, this paper presents a case study of AIO computer product development with cloud computing. In this case study, the industrial expert interview is adopted to obtain the characteristics of customer needs. Then, these characteristics are transformed into the characteristics of product function through the use of the quality function deployment (QFD). Finally, the TRIZ technique is applied to handle the conflicting situations where function features stage encounters. The results obtained from the presented case study can be used as some important decision references for developing hardware need specification. It is significant to ensure innovative effect before the new product is put into market
