In addition, people can acquire different knowledge from various ways. Nowadays, with new technology involved, people’s life has become more convenient and more diverse. Therefore, technology does apply very well in many regions. People can learn new knowledge and information from the interactive technology which is very popular and well-accepted now. However, the audio tour of historical site causes a limitation of learning knowledge due to a variety of natural and human factors. Also, when visiting historical site, virtual audio tour can be only operated by mouse and keyboard, so people become impatient easily. Last but not least, after digitalized, there is still lack of platform to promote historical sites. Therefore, the main issue of this study is to understand how to use different ways to motivate people to learn new information and knowledge and how to learn the construction of historical buildings from virtual audio tour. Thus, the study creates a new audio tour system which is a multi-touch system. Also, this study compares the new system to the traditional system which is operated by keyboard and mouse. The objective of the study is to recognize which system can attract more people to learn new knowledge. In order to achieve this study, there are three stages of research methods. First of all, this study gathered related audio tour, entered the information into the system, analyzed the literatures and acknowledged principles related to interactive multimedia. Second, the study set a 3D system and interactive multimedia for Penghhu Temple of the Empress of Heaven (Mazu). Finally, the study used two different ways to operate the system (new and tradition) and asked for opinion for random respondents. The result of this study was that people can learn much more from the new system (multi-touch) than traditional system (keyboard and mouse). Moreover, there were greatest differences of this experiment in three factors- location, exploration and interaction. However, in terms of knowledge-learning, there was no obvious difference between new and traditional system. The reason might relate to the interface and contents. This part could do further research and analysis from the follow-up study. Ming-Shean Wang 王銘顯 2011 學位論文 ; thesis 96 zh-TW |
