The objective of the study is to explore the recognition of the tourism related workers and kindergarten teachers incorporating community tourism resources into education, use of community tourism resources and the obstacles encountered when using the community tourism resources and their counter measures, as well as the short-comings found by and recommendations of the kindergarten teachers to community tourism resources. The participants of this study are tourism related workers and the current teachers in kindergarten incorporating community tourism resources into their local education in Lienchiang County. The research data is collected via literary analysis and in-depth interviews. The research findings and conclusions are as the following: 1. The varieties and features of community tourism resources in Lienchiang County are diverse and have a great educational value to kindergarten education. 2. The kindergarten teachers can flexibly use community tourism resources at each stage of local education and elaborate the educational function of the community tourism resources 3. The current practice of kindergarten teachers incorporating community resources into local educational activities has a lively style and kindergarten teachers have positive attitudes towards teaching obstacles with diverse countermeasures. 4. The tourism related workers in Lienchiang County have unique points of views and incisive analyses for the functions and benefits of incorporating the community tourism resources into local education, as well as for the content and planning which can be enhanced in the local education. 5. Kindergarten teachers collect related information and explore the community in depth for field observation and better understanding of the features of community tourism resources when incorporating the community tourism resources into local education. They have also found short-comings in the resources and made some suggestions. Lastly, based on the study results, the researcher proposes specific suggestions to educational institution, administrative bodies of tourism, administrative bodies of education, community associations, teachers themselves and follow-up researches.
