Summary:碩士 === 銘傳大學 === 資訊管理學系碩士在職專班 === 99 === Many enterprises have had major investment of Information Technology(IT) in building up the IT infrastructure, which enables business activities. However if not managed properly, their competitive position can not be enhanced. IT governance includes a framework of best practice to guide and control enterprise to reach certain business goals. The major purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between IT governance practice, IT capabilities and IT governance performance. This study is designed to look into the effect of: (1) IT governance practice on IT capability, (2) the mediating relationship of IT capability between IT governance practice and IT governance performance. This research is conducted by sending total 98 questionnaires and retrieve 64 effective samples, using SPSS 19 statistical software for factor, reliability and validity analysis, and using SmartPLS to analyze structural equation model. This study also adopted the statistical analytical approach with samples from IT department of Taiwan’s enterprises and found implications as below: 1.The higher degree of IT governance practice that enterprises implement suggests the greater assistance for IT capabilities of infrastructure, business experience and relationship infrastructure. 2.The enhanced IT capabilities of implementing structures, processes, communication and relationship of IT governance practice produces positive effectiveness on IT governance performance.
