Comparing to non-group enterprises, what if the enterprises become a group can reduce the whole risk enterprises originally faced? Furthermore, consider the effect of group enterprises’ strategy on risk. The empirical results show that group enterprises bear higher risk than non-group enterprises. But if group enterprises applied vertical integration or diversification strategy, it will effectively mitigate the systematic risk and operating risk.
