To achieve the above purpose, this study was borrowed and translated into Chinese version from Kim & Kim who developed the Problematic Online Game Use (POGU) in 2010. The questionnaire was verified the reliability, validity and existence of the relevant constructs, and the relevant models were established accordingly. The theoretical foundation was based on the past literatures and empirical researches. The study population consisted of the ninth-grade students in the school year of 99 at Taoyuan County who completed the same standardized tests, was further applied by the stratified random sampling, and 1061 effective questionnaires were consequently derived. The results of the study did confirm the four factors named as "Euphoria", "Health", "Conflict and self-control", and "Virtual relationship". The original POGU version seems performing better than the Taiwanese POGU version. However, POGU can still obtain well fitness to Taiwan after modification. In addition, The study apply the structural equation modeling(SEM)to examine POGU and academic achievement model. The results show that POGU had statistically negative influence on academic achievement, and language subjects. The results bring some new discoveries and may be developed as a new theory. The results provide counselors’ good guidance about online game use, and also serve the future reference and extend to other new studies. Tzu-Chin Chou 周子敬 2011 學位論文 ; thesis 131 zh-TW |
