Summary: | 碩士 === 銘傳大學 === 商業設計學系碩士班 === 99 === “Collage”, which creates an imagination-triggering composition out of various materials, is often applied to strengthen the development of children’s cognition, while computer-assisted instruction (CAI) has become a top goal of current education due to that multi-media has features such as funniness and autonomy and can help increase the interests and learning effectiveness of children. Creating teaching materials via a computer’s program can make teachings more vivid and full of sparks, not to mention that digital art software has broadened the application of digital collage with its powerful image capabilities.
The design develops a digital learning material for kids by combining multi-media and digital collage. After undergoing a literature analysis regarding the design principles of collage and CAI, applying such principles to this design, and further revising it according to subsequent observation and tests, conclusions are induced as follows: 1.The style of digital collage is full of wonder and surprise, and can stimulate kids’ imagination and elevate their aesthetics during the learning process. 2. Learning simple geometric forms and colors can strengthen the cognitive ability of kids aged between 4-6. 3. Digital learning material puts the needs of kids the priority in the learning process, which makes learning more autonomous and flexible.
