碩士 === 銘傳大學 === 商業設計學系碩士班 === 99 === Abstract In recent years, due to many cultural and creative people even government agencies they promote Taiwan traditional cotton print, so it can be lively discussed once more. Taiwan traditional cotton print can remind many people when in their childhood, but it’s giddy and out of fashion in modern life. The classic tradition should not be abolished, and stagnation. This study mainly analyze in Taiwan traditional cotton print and historical origins of Japanese kimono patterns, style, design elements, colors, etc., after that, extracting the features of two patterns, combined with basic structure, principles of esthetics, extending the two series of works, it lastly will be output by digital printing methods. Because of market have many fabric applications, this study will be used for the spatial decoration, it is in order to make the audience to know more about the fabric. For this purpose, that is to break the traditional impression and application of general fabric in Taiwan. It also provides more choices of fabric for consumers, and makes fabric application be diversified for people. Keywords：Taiwan Cotton Print, Kimono Pattern, Digital Printing
