Summary: | 碩士 === 銘傳大學 === 企業管理學系碩士班 === 99 === This study examined to reconfirm the impact of leader member exchange on subordinate’s performance in Indonesia.
Questionnaires were given personally to 500 employees from several companies (Bank, Property, Tap Factory, Railway contractor, and Travel Agent) in Jakarta, Indonesia; there were 450 questionnaires returned, in which 400 completely responses were used for the statistical analysis. The items in the questionnaires including leader member exchange by Sparrowe & Liden (2005), trust in manager by Lagace (1991), manager’s supervision by Lister & crisp (2005), manager’s suggestion by Lundh (1998), Performance by Campbell (1990) were used in this study. The collected data were computed and analyzed through factor analysis, Cronbach’s alpha, descriptive statistics, correlation, and multiple regression analysis.
The findings of the study were generalized as follows: (1) The impact leader member exchange between manager and subordinates were applied very good in the companies (Bank, Property, Tap Factory, Railway contractor, and Travel Agent), (2) The leader member exchange influence significantly to employees’ performance in a direct way. Multiple regressions revealed that trust, supervision, and suggestion are a mediator between levels leader member exchange with performance.
