| Summary: | 碩士 === 康寧大學 === 資產管理與城市規劃研究所 === 99 === In Taiwan, re-utilization of the historical spaces that were protected by cultural property preservation law was very popular in recent years. The concepts of protecting, repairing, or reusing historical spaces developed very fast after the cultural property preservation law was legislated since 1982. Many essays pointed out that the way of reutilizing historical spaces should be sustainable and preservable.
The purpose of this study was to realize the present situations of the Huwei Town Hall, the Office Building of Huwei County, and the Huwei Official Mansion after reutilizing. This study used the qualitative method to describe the present situations of the Huwei Town Hall, the Office Building of Huwei County, and the Huwei Official Mansion after reutilizing. This study also used the quantification analysis method to describe the data bases from visitor’s questionnaires.
The findings of this study were as follows: First, the Huwei Town Hall became a very famous national palm puppet museum that had national puppet exhibitions every year, and many tourists have been visited this museum since reutilizing. Second, the Office Building of Huwei County was reutilized to Yunlin Story House that was popularized successfully by Yunlin Storyteller Association. Third, the Huwei Official Mansion was planned to become an art space, however the Huwei County did not have a clear operation plan yet. That was why the Huwei Official Mansion still kept a management going painstakingly.
