This research was conducted by the questionnaire method to 560 General Directors (GD in short) and director of Insurance department (DI in short) for all 280 cities FAs throughout the country. The "Town farmers will undertake commercial insurance executives intent on scale" questionnaires was conducted. 560 questionnaires were sent and 409 valid questionnaires returned of the 72.86% returned rate. The research shown: 1. FA was overall satisfied with the current business insurance condition. The satisfaction rate for GD towards the business insurance was 70.7% and it is in the middle-high range. 2. Business insurance can potentially satisfy the operational performance of the FA. GD’s rating for the pros and cons of FA contracting business insurance were 77.6%, it indicates that GDs are aware of the influence of business insurance towards the FA’s operational performance is at the medium-high level. Moreover, DI’s rating was 70.25% where it indicates that the awareness is at the same level as GD. 3. FA is more preferable and more foreseeable for the business insurance. GD’s satisfying level towards contracting business insurance was 78.25% whereas GI’s attitude was 72.3%. In addition, both GD and GI agree that business insurance could satisfy the profit needs of the FA. This case showed that insurance of agricultural researches were lack of empirical research to the relationship between farmers and contractors in the past. Researcher proposed that future research should conduct the qualitative research in interviewing the executive officer of Farmers for in-depth understanding of commercial insurance for contractors.
