The schedule of the project must be adjusted dynamically and adaptively over time, and the related resources must be rearranged effectively in accordance with the change of the schedule, this is the traditional resource-constrained project scheduling problem (RCPSP). This study incorporates the critical chain operation model which is based on the theory of constraint; and the agent technology which is based on the information system; to generate the project schedule dynamically, so as to achieve the ultimate goal of the project under the conditions of limited resources and through a communication mechanism between agents. The proposed solution for generating the project schedule will allocate the resources in an effective and dynamic approach; this can not only lower down the expense and risk of the project, but can also shorten the duration of the project, and finally improve the performance of project management.
