Summary: | 碩士 === 龍華科技大學 === 商學與管理研究所 === 99 === This research aims to discuss the relationships between Employee Organizational Commitment and Organizational Citizenship Behavior on Knowledge Sharing in the insurance industry and analyze different impacts of individual characteristics on these three variables.
The research questionnaire on Organizational Commitment was adopted from Jui-Chin Ho(2008), questionnaire on Organizational Citizenship Behavior was adopted from Yu-Shen Chang(2009), and questionnaire on Knowledge Sharing was adopted from Tsan-Jung Chu(2009), Five insurance Companies were chosen to fill our the questionnaires and collect information. Out of 400 questionnaires distributed, there were 313 returned valid questionnaires with the response rate of 78.3%.
The questionnaire analyses have led to six important findings.
Fist, the extent of Organizational Commitment, Organizational Citizenship Behavior, and Knowledge Sharing range from middle to high degree, showing the positive relationships among Organizational Commitment, Organizational Citizenship Behavior, and Knowledge Sharing.
Second, the employee with age more than 55 years old and diploma degree achieves annual salary of more than on million per year, which is better than other employees.
Third, the employee of 55 years old with high school degree, two for four years of service, and salary of more than 1 million per year possesses higher degree of Organizational Citizenship Behavior than other employees.
Fourth, the employee with junior high school degree and has got married as well as acts as a manager achieves higher degree of knowledge sharing than other employees.
Fifth, in the insurance industry, Employee Organization Commitment and Organization Citizenship Behavior are positively related to Knowledge Sharing.
Sixth, in the insurance industry, Organization Citizenship Behavior acts as the mediator in the relationship between Organization Commitment and Knowledge Sharing.
