information model”, more and more experts applications in all kinds of
construction. From simple warehouse to the pattern most complex new
construction, the design method is being developed. In this study, the 3D
visualization modeling design is induced into an actual project case, and all of
the working items will be examined for schedule analysis in order to understand
the feasibility of using BIM to the working phases. Autodesk Revit Architecture
software is adopted as tool of 3D modeling for this research, and it will help to
produce the construction schedule according to the case information.
By using the actual project case, the result of this research shows that 3D
visualization modeling design can help understanding the meanings of
engineering drawings and the connection problems among engineering
interfaces. In project management of schedule, it can short for 8 days of total 70
work days, and is about 13% off. Overall, savings of up to NT 21,000 in total
project construction cost of NT 630,000. The conclusion shows that import of
3D visualization modeling design, small projects can has the advantage of
understanding exactly what the work schedule and construction interface
simulation and anticipation to enhance documentation and the quality of the
engineering personnel and engineering.
