Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄應用科技大學 === 模具工程系 === 99 === The austenic SUH38 of the precipitation hardening heat resistance steel was coated with Al by thermal reaction / diffusion deposition. The specimens of SUH38 were pre-treated at 1050 ℃ / 2 hr and followed by thermal diffusion of Al for 3 hr at 750 ℃、900 ℃ and 1050 ℃ in the rotational box packed with Al containing powders. The Vicker’s hardness and X-ray diffraction (XRD)and optical microscope (OM) and scanning electron microscope (SEM) were used to analyze Hv hardness and the phases and morphologies of the films. The film thickness for 750 ℃、900 ℃ and 1050 ℃ by thermal diffusion is 55~60 μm、130~135 μm and 470~520 μm while the Hv hardness is 900~1000 Hv、 600~700 Hv and 400~650 Hv. The XRD results show the intermetallic compounds countaining Fe、Al、Cr and Ni such as Al-Fe and Ni-Al. The SEM reveals the three layers containing oxide layer、diffusion layer and outer layer . The Al-coated SUH38 after 1150 ℃ / 30 min solution treatment and 750 ℃ / 3 hr aging treatment has normal hardness of HRC 35 , and appear the stable thermal-stahility from TGA analysis and better abrasion resistance relative to uncoated SUH38 from the abrasion resistance testing.
