However, the development time and the design costs do not conform to the economic benefit. This study uses the software PRO-E and DEFORM-3D to analyze forming and die stress of the round clinch T welding nut. According to the defects of forming and die stress, the objection of design is to reduce the maximum effective die stress. By using finite element method, analyzes the state of die stress under conditions of different interference. Basis on the results of analysis, the better of interference can effectively reduce the maximum effective die stress.
