Summary: | 碩士 === 國立高雄應用科技大學 === 機械與精密工程研究所 === 99 === With the rapid development of science and technology thriving in the world, Virtual Reality (VR) 3D technology has been applied more often to many fields such as military, medical, aerospace, education, and training. In the military, medical and architecture fields, VR 3D technology has been widely integrated into real life events, so that users can enjoy more immersive feeling in both visual and tactile effects. On the other hand, in order to reduce accidents caused by negligence of the user during military training, computer technology has already been further developed for virtual training systems. Now the current weapon system has become more diversified, the equipments and related parts are more precise and sophisticated than previous system. However, in the instructional training of dismantling and maintenance of the military guns, the traditional style of teaching is still been conducted to teach the basic concepts of weapons to the newly enlisted soldiers. By using paper (book) and charts in the forms of text or video recording, and through text and oral instruction of the features and procedures of the weapons. This training way may result in the difficiency of learning interests for the young soldier and cannot get the better training effects. Therefore, in this paper, a prototype of virtual gun training system was developed for assisting the traning in the preliminary stage. Subsequently, condering the feasibility of the information system along with the adoption attitude of the users, questionnaire test and analysis based behavior theories are implemented.
First, this study using virtual reality technology to construct a virtual system prototype of the personal firearms of military basic weapons, 45 pistols and rifles teaching. Then, experimental study with a quantitative assessment of enlisted prototype based on Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), Decomposed Theory of Planned Behavior (DTPB) and Innovation Diffusion Theory (IDT) was conducted so that the implication of the analyzed result can be interpreted. Futhermore, the reseach result could be a reference to information system development, and it might induce some suggestions for VR system improvement and promotion.
