Summary: | 碩士 === 國立高雄應用科技大學 === 化學工程與材料工程系 === 99 === In this study, the zinc oxide powders were synthesized by liquid phase precipitation method, using sodium carbonate as a precipitating agent. The response surface methodology (RSM) and Box-Behnken design were applied to find the optimal factor conditions in production of zinc oxide powders. The various parameters including reaction temperature, reaction time, initial concentration of reactants, stirring rate can be investigated in detail. The powders properties were characterized by Thermogravimetric analysis/Differential thermal analysis (TGA/DTA) X-ray diffraction (XRD), Brunauer-Emmet-Teller analysis (BET), and emission scanning electron microscope (FE-SEM), respectively.
The results show that the powers with high temperature calcination have good dispersion and specific surface areas of 58.22 m2/g. By Reponse Surface Method, The predicted specific surface area is 68 m2/g. The experimental results show the specific surface areas is 70 m2/g. The experimental results are in good agreement with the predicted results.
