Summary: | 碩士 === 國立高雄應用科技大學 === 人力資源發展系 === 99 === The study investigates the relationship among job characteristic, job satisfaction, and turnover intention in the employees of information tech industry. Drawing on Job Characteristics Model, this study investigates the moderators of locus of control and leader-member exchange. Through quantitative research, this article analyzed the moderating effects of locus of control and leader-member exchange between job characteristic, job satisfaction and turnover inention.
A total of 600 employees of 15 information tech industries were collected. 472 samples were taken back, and the completive response rate was 78.66%. In addition, the analysis methods include reliability, analysis of variance, correlation and regression. The findings as below:
1. There has a positive effect between job characteristic and job satisfaction.
2. There has a negative effect between job characteristic and turnover intention.
3. Internal control decreases the positive relationship between job characteristic and job satisfaction.
4. Internal control reduces the negative relationship between job characteristic and
turnover intention.
