Description
Summary:碩士 === 景文科技大學 === 觀光與餐旅管理研究所 === 99 === The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship among family structure, parental attachment, and family leisure involvement. This study chooses children aged between 12 and 18 years attending junior and senior high schools in four metropolitan areas in Taiwan as the sampling population. The cluster sampling approach was used to collect samples. Totally 953 copies of the questionnaire are released, and 861 valid copies were returned. Statistical methods such as ANOVA and correlation analysis and regression analysis are conducted to test hypotheses by using SPSS18.0. The statistics find that double parents family with single child has significant differences with three other family structures (i.e., double parents family with several children, single parent family with single child, and single parent family with several children) in family leisure involvement. These findings indicate that children in single family have less family leisure involvement than double parents family due to the economic and time factors which their parents can provide. These findings also indicate that single child have more family leisure involvement than several children since his/her parent love him/her dearly. The statistics also find that parental attachment has significant positive effects on family leisure involvement; communication has significant positive effects on core family leisure, balance family leisure, and family leisure involvement. While, trust and alienation have insignificant effects on core family leisure, balance family leisure, and family leisure involvement. These findings indicate that parent can promote family leisure involvement by using strategies which increase the levels of communication with their children.
