The purpose of using homogeneous system is to reduce the computer time and storage that are required in convergence. The results presented in this study can show the significiant improvements over general Homotopy Method. The number of homotopy paths that need to be searched will be greatly reduced and convergence can be achieved in shorter period of time. The calculation of homogeneous Homotopy Method has been developed on a MATLAB program. The possible real solutions will be convert to corresponding planar four-bar mechanisms and be verified with kinematic analysis.
