碩士 === 義守大學 === 管理學院管理碩士班 === 99 === Due to the lack of energy in Taiwan, the acquisition of energy depends on importing. For energy independence, Taiwan develops renewable energy actively in recently year to expect enhancing the self-sufficiency in energy production. Besides, Taiwan located on the Tropic of Cancer is suitable to imporve solar energy in renewable energy because of long hours of sunshine. In the application of solar energy, solar hot water system has been popularized more than 20 years. The advantages are the effecacy of carbon reduction, no danger of carbon monoxide poisoning, and no occupation of indoor spaces. However, the household installation rate is only 6.4%, it looks like the low acquisition of solar hot water system to the public. The context explores the factors of the low household installation rate after government’s popularizing solar hot water system more than 20 years. It explores three aspects of the Taiwan southern people for solar hot water system demand factors through the government''s subsidy policy, public awareness of environmental protection and related energy prices. According to questionnaires for consumer convenience sampling and spss nonparametric statistical analysis, it revealed that interviewers agree with the government subsidy policies and their implementation of environmental awareness to increase their wills to install solar hot water system, but the high energy-related price to decrease their wills to install solar hot water system.
