New sales development is therefore limited. How to maintain and improve the insurance renewal business? The insurance renewal rate will be one of crucial indexes for developing marketing strategies. Considering that there is very little difference in insurance product price and value, the customers’ insurance renewal is mainly attributed to the service quality offered by the property insurance employees. But, the property insurance employees’ traits are closely linked with the service quality which they can offer. Therefore, the topic of this research focuses on the relationship between the property insurance employees’ traits and the insurance renewal. This research mainly targets the property insurance employees in Kaohsiung and Kao-Ping Areas. It probes into the relationship between the property insurance employees’ basic traits and the customers’ insurance renewal. The information is collected by using the questionnaires and the correlation analysis is carried out by using the statistic methods. It shows that the property insurance employees’ basic traits and specialties cause the influence on the insurance renewal rate. And, it comes to the following conclusions: 1. There is the significant correlation between the insurance renewal rate and the property insurance employees’ basic traits, including sex, marriage, age and children’s conditions. But, it is hardly related to the educational background and region of service. 2. The insurance renewal rate has much reference to the seniority, one of the property insurance employees’ specialties. But, the insurance renewal rate has little reference to the insurance employees if they possess the credentials on business administration or professional qualification in connection with financial management. From this research on the property insurance employees’ traits, it shows that the property insurance employees in possession of better insurance renewal rate are characteristic of such features as stronger ambitious devotion to their work, more financial burdens from their families, broad personal connections, abundant professional knowledge and experience on property insurance.
