But the maintenance task of military aircraft must to be finished on time. Thus it can meet the variety circumstance of battle field. The maintenance unit of Air Force has to apply all kinds of resource and rely on the management of science to keep fighters in good condition. Then support the battle mission to be carried on successfully. It’s more and more difficult to perform the maintenance task of modern weapon systems. Especially the maintenance span is not easy to control due to its large variation. This study took a military aircraft maintenance unit as an example, and use Critical Chain Project Management (CCPM) to reschedule the periodical examination task of military aircraft. Finally this study will offer the strategy how to shorten the maintenance span for those supervisors who charges the maintenance shop.
