This study aims to use to establish a simple high performance liquid chromatography analysis of Chinese herbal medicines can shorten the time of the analysis system, combined with liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry analysis of the results for the chemical identification of Glycyrrhiza Radix and Dragon's blood. Glycyrrhiza Radix and Dragon's blood for analysis of the conditions of their environment chromatography reversed-phase column (Cosmosil 5C 18 -ARII, 5μm, 25 cm × 4.6mm I.D.) containing the Insertion of KH 2 PO 4 concentration of water is 10mM ( 10% H 3 PO 4 adjusted to pH = 4.60) and the ratio of organic phase is their preparation for the CH 3 CN / CH 3 OH/H 2 O (v / v / v) = 4/0/1, CH 3 CN / CH 3 OH/H 2 O (v / v / v) = 3.5/0.5/1 as a buffer. Gradient elution flow rate was 0.8 mL / min and 254nm, the Glycyrrhiza Radix can be within 100 min of 15 compound, 1 Isovidanthin, 2 Liquiritin, 3 2,7-Dihydroxy-4-methoxyisoflavan 7-O-β-d-glucopyranoside, 4 Liquiritin apioside, 5 Neoliquiritin, 6 Neoisoliquiritin, 7 Licorice glycoside A, 8 Liquitigenin, 9 Quercetin, 10 Glycyrrhizic acid, 11 Uralsponin B, 12 Licoarylcoumarin, 13 Isoicoflavonol, 14 Licoricidin and 15 18 β -glycyrrhetic acid. Through this study the establishment of a systematic analysis of Glycyrrhiza Radix and Dragon's blood for medicinal respectively, 5 and a standard component have good suitability.Reproducibility of RSD are less than 1.045%, the regression coefficient for the linear equations for the seven compounds lay between 0.9990~0.9996 and 0.9997. The limits of detection and quantification lay in the range of 0.005 ~ 0.041μg/mL and 0.065μg/mL, respectively. 100.6-102.6% and 104.2% recovery. Recovery was 100.6-102.6% and 104.2%. The results of this analysis available to achieve the simultaneous quantify and quantitative composition of Glycyrrhiza Radix and Dragon Blood, Glycyrrhiza Radix and Dragon's blood chemistry to establish the basis for identification, then use this method for a total of 19 commercial medicines approved Glycyrrhiza Radix and Dragon's blood 22 batches of medicines were purchased in different parts of the base of the original identification, establishment of medicinal Glycyrrhiza Radix and Dragon's blood chemical fingerprint library.
