Summary:碩士 === 弘光科技大學 === 環境工程研究所 === 99 === Although the protection and sustainable development of environment has been concerned and sought for decades in many countries around the world, but the deterioration crises of global ecology and overall environment are still worsening. Recently, the concept of green building design of environment protection has become the focus in global architecture. For enterprise, the strict environmental law and related environmental issues should be taken into consideration with important business risks. This wave has been across nations and business, and gone deeply in the operation of the company. It makes high-tech industries around the world be engaged in green supply chain, think about green plant architecture and the relationship between architecture and natural environment. This research focuses on a hybrid TFT-LCD Fab (Hybrid Fab), to collect and review the development, documents, relevant laws and cases of green architecture of international high-tech Fab. Besides, it also evaluates EEWH and LEED Green Building Assessment System which has been prosecuted at home and abroad for years. This paper also focuses on the LEED certification process which starts from the design of requirements of the machine to the combination of new Fab, Fab construction, international certification of energy measurement, and the operating performance. It connects the whole "eco-cycle" of the Green Fab. After be certificated by the USGBC(U.S. Green Building Council) LEED Green Building Assessment System, the study has reached environment-friendly design and management from the stage of site chosen to the completion of operations management. The overall energy performance of each year could be up to 21% and save 130 million kWh annually. The water recycling rate will go up to 90%, and other water-saving measures will also reduce the amount of about 300 tons of water. At the same time, the energy performance of the plant will reduce the carbon dioxide emissions 87,000 tons annually. The other controls of the overall construction waste recycling rate will up to 90%, amassing a substantial impact on reducing environmental impact and reduce the unnecessary waste of resources. The rise of global green building trends causes the innovation of construction industry, and spurs the promotion of the development and technology in saving energy and environmental protection. At the same time, we should combine the upstream and downstream industries and push forward the issues of exchanges and cooperation of friendly environment and environmental protection, and try to get a balance between the growth of industry and the sustainability of the environment. It also increases the fashion of green architecture effectively. We expect that it will build the model of TFT-LCD in our country and create the triple-winning opportunity among industry, customers and environment.
