How social meaning? But in this two kind of movie types, role image, behavior, as well as movie, and social culture whether mutual influence. Study the authors point to distinguish the object of study, the Chinese martial arts film culture to Chu Yuan martial arts films, film culture of the western United States on the John ford western movie, the five films as textual analysis. Application of text analysis research methods, this study sociological point of view of the way, text analysis in different cultures, the role of the social implications of the film, in the analysis framework, the main use of Sociology in the social structure, to martial arts films and western movies applications, and folk narrative research with Propp as an auxiliary. Chu found that martial arts films and many more for the original human nature, corruption was rampant in Hong Kong society is the era of martial arts villains in the film community was incompetent to represent, eager for wealth and power, and ultimately die of their own greed; Ford's western films through world wars and the economic baptism of the Great Depression, "Explorer" characters set to leave the family for many years because of the war, and finally returned to the family's desire, aversion to war; martial arts film culture by the Chinese collectivism and Western film culture by Western individualism
