Due to the construction, functions, and terms, the screw driving system of MCWP can’t not be defined in the scope of the "lift" and "Rules of Labor Safety and Health" can not be applied either. The main purpose of this study is to investigate the status of the regulations, specific provisions, inspection systems, safety standards, certification institutes, safety management, and other related information of MCWP in abroad. Foreign codes at least included EN1495, CAN/CSA-S16, and ANSI/SIA 92.9. Feasibility evaluation of applying foreign codes can be proposed. The items of high-risk of MCWP can be identified by using methods of risk evaluation: Failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA) and Failure tree analysis (FTA).
