For example, Finland was evaluated great by PISA (The Programme for International Student Assessment) which emphasized the use of critical reading and thinking in daily life and teaching. The government of New Zealand offered elementary school teachers critical thinking courses. Also, the government of Taiwan,Hong Kong and Singapore applied critical thinking to the target of primary education. These countries put critical thinking courses in primary education in order to improve students’ thinking ability. This study was a reflection on critical thinking of primary education. The researcher hoped to find the advantages and disadvantages of critical thinking courses applied to primary education. This study was divided into five chapters. The first chapter indicated the trend of modern education and explained what critical thinking was. The second chapter compared critical thinking education with traditional education. In addition, it indicated their advantages, disadvantages and conflicts. The third chapter discussed the positive and negative effects when critical thinking was applied to primary education based on skeptical spirit. The fourth chapter discussed the advantages and disadvantages of critical thinking applied to primary education based on thought contagion. Finally, the fifth chapter drew conclusions and suggestions. This study suggested that we could teach the first-grade to the fourth-grade students in traditional education way. However, teachers could use critical thinking to guide fifth graders and sixth graders. Besides, the homeroom teacher who guided fifth graders had to be the same as the one who guided sixth graders, but the homeroom teacher should be different from the one who guided first graders to fourth graders. All in all, the goal of this study was to suggest that it was workable to apply critical thinking to primary education. Chi,Chien-Chih 冀劍制 2009 學位論文 ; thesis 68 zh-TW |

碩士 === 華梵大學 === 哲學系碩士班 === 97 === The importance of critical thinking in primary education had been gradually
uncovered in many countries.
The
researcher hoped to find the advantages and disadvantages of critical thinking courses applied to primary education. The fourth chapter discussed the advantages and disadvantages of critical thinking applied to primary education based on thought
contagion. Finally, the fifth chapter drew conclusions and suggestions.
This study suggested that we could teach the first-grade to the fourth-grade
students in traditional education way.
