Summary: | 碩士 === 輔仁大學 === 體育學系碩士班 === 99 === The purpose of this study was to understand the relationships between the perceived coach’s leadership behaviors and training satisfaction of the track and field athletes in New Taipei city’s senior high schools. Three Hundred and Twenty high school students served as the subjects. The data was analyzed by t-test, One-way ANOVA, Scheffe’s method and Canonical correlation. Through analysis and discussion, the following conclusions were reached:
1.With regards to leadership behavior of coaches, players’ perception were most receptive to “Training and Guidance”, while “Autocratic Behavior” received least level of reception; and with regards to perception of training satisfaction is highest with the “Team Relationship” experience, while the “Individual Performance” experience received the lowest level of training satisfaction.
2.With regards to players’ different background and their perceived leadership behavior of coaches, players’ “Gender”, “Weekly Training Amount,” “Status of Injury,” “Sports Discipline” and “School District” are factors that result in significantly different perception of “Autocratic Behavior” , “Training and Guidance”, “Democratic Behavior” and “Reward Behavior”.
3.With regards to players’ different background and their training satisfaction, players’ “Grade Level”, “Status of Injury” and “Boarding Option” are factors that result in significantly different perception of “Individual Performance” , “Training Program”, and “Venue and Equipment”.
4.Players’ perception of leadership behavior of coaches and satisfaction of training demonstrated a positive correlation.
