| Summary: | 碩士 === 輔仁大學 === 織品服裝學系 === 99 === Taiwan has been through different eras as well as the big multicultural fusion for a long time; therefore, Taiwan's characteristic which we have to cherish is the communal development of unique culture modes of people, which forms the cultural matter of Taiwan. The Taiwan tradition printed cloth is one of the relics that can most represent Taiwan's cultural characteristic. The Taiwan tradition printed cloth has well revealed the wisdom of ancient people on the aspect of the way they use them in their daily lives. Since now we advocate the green life and highlight the importance of saving the energy and cutting down on the waste of carbon dioxide, we should respect local culture of clothing and give new lives to them.
This research systematically integrated, analyzed and recorded the ancient people's wisdom of using traditional Taiwanese printed cloth according to the aspects of clothing, food, shelter, transportation, education,entertainment,and verified it by the modern home creative products, hoping that we can hew out of innovation the tradition, and transfer it into the new creative vision of modern life, and thus exalt the perspective of being international and fashion among people.
This research organized the Taiwan's technique type of tradition printed cloth applies in the modern home creative products as follows: The direct cutting out technique, puts together the cloth technique, the butterfly ancient Baht technique, the direct colored drawing on pottery technique and the direct printing technique. These five techniques were accepted and liked by most people by using the Taiwan tradition printed cloth directly, parts of decorative design or enlargement and shrinkage use, because its color provide rich and warm visual feeling.
