Several research findings are concluded as followed: 1. Selection and acquisition of Chinese e-book in public libraries is integrated from print-based materials into electronic-based resources; 2. The libraries and vendors sign-on contract agreement. However, there is controversial issues about ownership vs. access about e-books; 5. E-book pricing is influenced by e-book formats, service methods, costs, and access volumes; 6. E-book pricing policy is determined by accounting, maintenance charge and the pricing basis; 7.
